Director | APA Titled Paediatric Physiotherapist
Master of Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice | Monash University
Bachelor of Physiotherapy | University of South Australia

Angelique is an experienced APA Titled Paediatric Physiotherapist and the Director of Paizo. She is dedicated to supporting babies, children and teens to move, play and flourish in their everyday lives. Angelique deeply values the power of play, connection and community and her approach is tailored to each and every child.
Angelique completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2019 before commencing her career in paediatrics, servicing families across Adelaide. In 2022, Angelique decided to dive deeper and completed a Master of Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice at Monash University, awarded with distinction. This earned her formal Titling with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).

Her curiosity then led her to move to London where she worked within the UK's leading children's hospitals, including the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and the Evelina London Children's Hospital. She was also based at a school for children with complex physical and intellectual disabilities. This time abroad deepened her expertise in complex medical conditions and assistive technology, while fostering a deep respect for the diverse cultural backgrounds and unique stories of the families she supports.

Upon returning to her hometown of Adelaide, Angelique began Paizo with the vision of creating a service, better yet, a community where children are seen and families are supported through all seasons of childhood. Whether that is learning to roll, walk or run; learning how to use a new standing frame; transitioning to primary school; getting stronger in the gym; or recovering from injury or surgery.

Angelique also works as a Tutor at the University of South Australia, educating the next generation of physiotherapists. She is also a Marte Meo practitioner, and a member of the SA APA Paediatric Committee. Away from work, Angelique enjoys keeping fit, playing with her golden retriever puppy, and exploring eateries around the world with her husband.
